Tuesdays: Senior Movement, 11:15a-12:15p
Wednesdays: Basic Flow Yoga, 6-7p
Thursdays: Basic Flow, 12:30p-1:30p- currently being taught by another teacher due to maternity leave.
Thursdays: Bare Bones Basics 6:30p-7:30p- currently being taught by another teacher due to maternity leave.
Friday: Bare Bones Basics, 9:30a-10:30a- currently being taught by another teacher due to maternity leave.
Corporate Movement & Yoga Classes can be taught in many different settings.
Classes can be on the mat, in chairs, in a conference room, a cafeteria or any space that the office can spare!
Classes can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depending on what the company and employees are looking for.
Classes can be taught in the morning, afternoon or evening.
Companies will be encouraged to purchases Resistance Bands for the employees (but not required)
Classes are taught at a level where anyone can attend.
Classes can be designed and catered to the needs of the company and employees
Mindful Movement & Posture Awareness Class. In this class we will explore techniques for tension release that can be practiced throughout the day. We will learn about the importance of sitting well and how to find good posture throughout the day. Body awareness exercises, meditation, relaxing breathing techniques and gentle feel good stretches will be incorporated. Little space required. Employees do not have to change their clothes.
Movement & Yoga Class. In this class we will be practicing on yoga mats and be taken through a sequence of movements and yoga poses that are designed to release tension, open up ‘stuck’ places in the body and move stagnant energy. The class will cater to the students needs- ie: shoulder opening, hip mobility, back stretching. Body awareness exercises, meditation, relaxing breathing techniques are also incorporated. Space for class is necessary. Employees will be required to change into clothes they can move in and will need to bring their own mats.
Private and semi private sessions can be done at your home, at her work studio or online. Using Franklin Method techniques and Yogic principles she gives you the opportunity to find freedom and space in your body through feel good experiences. Stepping far away from the "no pain, no gain" mentality and stepping into intelligent, gentle, functional, embodied movement. Working one on one or in small groups you can find depth in the work and your body for optimal results.
